Meet the Owner

My name is Ryan King, and I am the Owner/Managing Partner of Brightleaf Moving. We are a locally owned Residential and Commercial moving company based out of Durham, NC. I was raised in Wilmington, NC until the age of 18 when I attended Queens University of Charlotte as a collegiate athlete. During that time, I began working for Hornet Moving in Charlotte, NC, and soon became the General Manager.

After 4 successful years as the GM I moved to Raleigh NC to open Dogwood Moving Co. Within 2 years, Dogwood Moving has become the highest rating moving company in Raleigh. After seeing the growing need for quality moving services in the Triangle area I decided to open Brightleaf Moving in Durham to help serve my community at a greater level.
